I was fortunate to be asked to design the book project,
Det Grønne Paradoks, published by Kant Festival.

The art book brings together fourteen artists who each explore the
paradox of preserving Denmark's last wild nature while transitioning
to green energy — anchored in Hjardemål Klit in Thy, where an
existing wind turbine test center is being expanded with turbines up
to 450 metres tall.

The layout work included everything from image-heavy
photography sections to typographic treatment of poems,
and long-form texts with embedded images.

Behind it was a considerable amount of file handling
and editorial work — coordinating proofing rounds with
the three co-editors along with all fourteen artists.

The book was printed in an edition of 700, with some sold
and many given away – notably to every member of the board
of Thisted Municipality.

It launched at a vernissage at Kirsten Kjærs Museum, where
around 80 people showed up to see the finished book and talk
about the questions it raises.

As a token of appreciation for the artists,
and to help
spread the word, I was asked to design a poster for each
of them. They received a batch to keep or hand out.
